Claudia Herbello serves as Of-Counsel to The Legal Team, PLLC. She is a Corporate Law attorney with experience in corporate governance, start-ups, mergers and acquisitions transactions, corporate formation, company liquidations, as well as global compliance and business ethics.
Claudia has represented both domestic and international clients in several industries including food and beverage, logistics, entertainment and sports, technology, travel, music, design, and telecommunication. She is responsible for drafting, negotiating, and advising clients on matters such as corporate formation, securities/asset purchase agreements, promissory notes, operating/shareholders agreements, escrow agreements, pledge agreements, non-competition and non-circumvention agreements, broker agreements, as well as various service agreements and other corporate transaction documents. She is fluent in Spanish and has experience reviewing and drafting contracts in Spanish.
Claudia was a legal intern at World Fuel Services, a Fortune 500 Company, and a legal intern for the Honorable Spencer B. Eig, Eleventh Judicial Circuit-Criminal Division.
In the community, Claudia is an active member of the Cuban American Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, and the business law section of the Florida Bar. She served as the Florida Regional President of the Hispanic National Bar Association – Law Student Division for the 2016-2017 term. She also served as President of the Hispanic Law Student Association at Florida International University College of Law for the 2017-2018 term.
Claudia was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She was raised by a loving Cuban family who ensured she remained close to her Cuban roots. As a teenager, Claudia knew she wanted to be an attorney and dedicated much of her time and effort to excel in her academics with the hope that doing so would improve her chances for a scholarship. In fact, the hard work paid off and as a result of her discipline and dedication not only was she the first in her family to become an attorney in the United States but also she did so with a full-ride scholarship for both her Bachelor degree and law school education.
