Thomas Julio Arosemena Callan is a Panamanian attorney with a specialized focus on insurance and reinsurance law, bringing over a decade of experience across underwriting, claims management, and reinsurance placement. He is a Partner at Venturia Legal and the Founder and CEO of LATAM Reinsurance Brokers Corp., where he advises on complex risk transfer strategies throughout Latin America.

Thomas concentrates his legal practice on insurance and reinsurance matters, corporate transactions, merger and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. His work is grounded in both legal and technical industry expertise, allowing him to guide insurers, reinsurers, and market participants through the structuring and placement of sophisticated reinsurance programs and the resolution of complex, cross-border insurance issues.

His dual role across legal and brokerage platforms provides clients with a practical, business-driven perspective on risk allocation, regulatory frameworks, and market dynamics.

Thomas earned his LL.M. in Insurance Law from University of Connecticut School of Law and holds a law degree from Panama (equivalent to a U.S. J.D.).
