Anthony Avelino Vega is a Law Clerk at The Legal Team, PLLC, where he supports the firm’s civil and commercial litigation practice. His work includes legal research, drafting motions and responses, preparing legal correspondence, and assisting with matters involving business disputes, LLC member disputes, defamation, and other commercial litigation. He works on matters involving both plaintiffs and defendants and assists the firm’s attorneys with case preparation and client communications.

Anthony earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law in 2026, where he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Federal Income Tax. During law school, he gained experience in legal research, contract review, and document preparation through a legal internship. He also served as an Admissions Ambassador, assisting prospective and incoming law students.

Before pursuing his legal career, Anthony earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Business Management from St. Thomas University. He brings practical business experience to his legal work, having previously owned and operated a small business with responsibilities spanning operations, financial planning, and strategic decision-making. This background provides him with a valuable perspective on the business and financial considerations underlying commercial disputes.

Anthony plans to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation at the University of Miami School of Law. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
